I agree that incentive does play an important role in success. The post is based on research from a variety of sources including surveys and scientific research. One survey of over 100,000 college students found that one-third admitted to missing a class due to alcohol or drug use and one in four reported poor performance on a project or a test because of the aftereffects of alcohol or drug use.
